“Sometimes, simply lying on a foam roller with your arms up can open up your spine and release the tension in your shoulders caused by constant slouching,” she suggests. The effect of using a foam roller is much akin to getting a massage. She confides that her foam roller has been with her since her college days.

Sleep is another crucial aspect of Kathryn’s regimen to support her active lifestyle. Ensuring she gets her full eight hours every night, Kathryn follows a strict sleep schedule. As she tends to be a light sleeper, Kathryn also reaches out for earplugs and uses a silk eye mask to ensure a peaceful night’s sleep.

“I have a fan on when I sleep. I enjoy the white noise it generates, helping me fall asleep. However, being such a light sleeper, I find that without earplugs, I often wake up. So earplugs are a must-have for me,” she shares.
