Speaking about their return from the initial trip and the overwhelming effusion of support they encountered, McMahon stated, “We returned to witness a massive outpouring of backing from the Western New York community who had heard about our journey south. Therefore, we felt compelled to facilitate a second trip in order to help even more people.”
The convoy of trucks, densely packed with crucial supplies, is set to head out on Tuesday morning to the state of Tennessee. Expressing his gratitude for the volunteers’ unwavering support, Berry commented, “We have a lot of help and we couldn’t do it without all the help. We all went from being strangers to becoming friends.”
The rescuers regretfully announced that they can no longer accept physical donations owing to the fact that their five trucks can accommodate no more. However, they remain receptive to monetary donations through various online platforms.
